Could you become a woman of influence?

Today's guest, Kathleen Cooke, shares how God sees who we are and chooses us for a specific calling to influence the world for his purposes.

Kathleen Cooke is an award-winning media and entertainment producer, actor, speaker and writer, and co-founder of Cooke Media Group and the nonprofit The Influence Lab. She leads Influence Lab Women in Hollywood and now also in Atlanta for Christian professionals. Kathleen is the author of the devotional Hope 4 Today: Stay Connected to God in a Distracted Culture, now in its 2nd edition, and posts the weekly online Influence Lab Journal and a weekly blog mentoring women in media, entertainment and leadership. She speaks globally and has been interviewed on numerous top national and international radio shows and podcasts as well as Christian TV networks such as CBN, TBN and The Hillsong Channel.

From her expertise in the area of influence, Kathleen explains our choice to serve by getting off our hands and obeying a call from God. We discuss the joy of allowing the Lord to pour influence through us.

Kathleen Cooke delves into the Biblical imagery of water associated with the influence of women. She explores the way the trinity was represented in scripture. Cooke highlights the significance of women as seen in the specific story of Miriam in the Old Testament.

Kathleen and I concur about how God values women and calls us to partner with him. We discuss seeking support if barriers consist of clinical depression, anxiety, or other counseling needs. Kathleen emphasizes the need for women to strengthen one another.
